15 Tsinghua Foreign experts chosen for “high-end foreign experts program”
According to the China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, all 15 foreign experts nominated by Tsinghua University were chosen for the 2014 “high-end foreign expert program”.
The selected foreign experts from Tsinghua are specialized in various field of expertise including engineering and material science, mathematical science, economics and management£¬ bioscience and communications.
Professor Pena-Mora from Columbia University, Professor Gary Royle from London University and Dr. Phong-Quang Nguyen from The French National Institute of Information and Automation are all included in this year¡¯s program.
The 15 foreign experts plan to spend altogether 50 months in Tsinghua University. Tsinghua University has been an active participant in the “high-end foreign expert program”since 2011 and has contributed 23 foreign experts to the program.
